BUSY bees are inspiring young children at a garden centre with events designed to teach little ones the importance role the insects play.
Children between three and eight are invited to join in the events from the end of May to the beginning of June at Sanders.
The week kicks of on Friday, May 27 with a busy bee hunt.
Each bee holds a question and correct answers will award you a sticker.
The perfect pollinator sessions on May 31 will teach kids how they can build a bee hotel to help them thrive.
The buzzing bakery will be on Wednesday and Thursday, teaching kids how to make bee-themed treats, including honey biscuits and cupcakes.
The centre want to encourage people to plant bee-licious plants, youngsters can decorate their pots once they've planted their flowers.
The list of top bee-friendly plants the centre encourages people to plant include: hebes, fuchsias, and lavender.
Sessions range from £2.50-£5 at Sanders throughout the week.
All events must be pre-booked online.
