TIKTOK sensation Francis Bourgeois has brought his Channel 4 digital series Trainspotting to Somerset with a special guest from Love Island.

Trainspotting sees Francis, 22, explore the British railway network with celebrities to offer a new perspective on a misunderstood pastime.

In the fifth episode, former Love Island contestant Chloe Burrows travelled to Westbury, Wiltshire and Frome to take in some of the local sights.

Francis, who has 2.7 million followers on TikTok, moved to Frome with his family when he was seven.

Standing on a station platform at the start of the video, Francis says: “This is my local, this is Westbury Station. There's always a load of stuff going on around here!

“And today, I'm meeting up with Chloe Burrows, a Love Island star. We're in beautiful Somerset, and I'm really excited to show her what it's all about.”

From Westbury, they travelled to the Pot Lane overbridge near Frome, where they saw a class 59 freight train carrying aggregates from a nearby quarry.

They later visited Cranmore Station, a heritage station run mostly by volunteers on the East Somerset Railway line.

The pair then helped out in the locamotive of a Prairie tank steam engine, with GoPro cameras stapped to their heads in Francis's signature style.

After getting back to Cranmore, Francis took Chloe to a nearby equivalent of Majorca's Love Island villa – a riverbank near Frome – where he practiced his audition tape for the hit ITV2 reality series in a pair of Transport for London Budgy Smugglers.

Throughout the episode, they also discussed quitting their jobs to pursue new careers, Francis's ‘type’ and his love for the railway.

Trainspotting has also featured comedian Aisling Bea, footballer Jesse Lingard, singer Sam Ryder and rapper AJ Tracey.
