WITH Glastonbury Festival fast approaching on the horizon, the line-up for the event is becoming the talk of festival-goers.

The world-famous event, which takes place on the edge of the Somerset Levels, attracts thousands of music fans from across the globe.

Last year, around 200,000 people attended the festival, which gives exposure to new artists and increased the popularity of established singers.

As well as Sir Elton John, who has been confirmed as a Pyramid Stage headliner, there have been two more potential additions to the line-up.

Who are the two new additions?

Gabrielle Aplin

Attendees are in luck. Gabrielle Aplin has recently self-confirmed for 2023.

The announcement was made on Wednesday, January 18th, during a conversation with Jo Whiley on BBC Radio Two.

The BBC presents live television and radio coverage of Glastonbury Festival.

According to GlastoFeed, which is the festival's offical 'unoffical' news site, when Aplin was asked if she had any events pencilled in for this year, she asked her manager if she could mention the 'G-Word' before saying: "I'm doing Glastonbury!"

It is rumoured that Aplin will be playing on the Field of Avalon stage, performing her most famous songs such as Please Don't Say You Love Me and The Power Of Love.

Guns N' Roses

Despite being one of the most famous rock bands around, Guns N' Roses have never played at Glastonbury before.

However, it is rumoured that this year, things could change. The band's bassist, Duff McKagan, seems to have confirmed that Guns N' Roses will appear at Glastonbury Festival this year.

According to NME, after speaking on his SiriusXM radio show Three Chords & The Truth, McKagan discussed Guns N’ Roses’ upcoming summer plans.

McKagan spoke about an upcoming London show that the band has planned, and then added: "Glastonbury is gonna be iconic.” He offered no further explanation.

The band would act as headliners. Other headliners include singer-songwriter Elton John, and any new additions would be most welcome.

The most popular songs of the band include Welcome to the Jungle and Sweet Child O' Mine.

Other rumoured acts include Eminem, Fatboy Slim and Bon Jovi.
