TAUNTON Brewhouse has announced shows with three of the country’s most popular comedians - Andy Parsons, Angela Barnes and recent Britain’s Got Talent winner Viggo Venn.

Report by Ryan Collins on work experience.

Since opening its doors in 1977, Taunton Brewhouse has established itself as a much-loved regional theatre that regularly attracts world-class talent and celebrates a wide range of community groups in Somerset and beyond.

Coming to Taunton this winter, the three comics - all with new shows – are expected to be very popular, with tickets on sale now for all three events.

The first of the three will be welcomed to the theatre on November 23, when Angela Barnes will be bringing her new stand-up show Hot Mess to Taunton.

Known for her appearances on Mock the Week, Live at the Apollo, 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown and former chairman of BBC Radio 4's The News Quiz, expect stand-up, stories and jokes from one of the UK’s finest comedians.

The laughter continues on December 8 with Andy Parsons. As seen on Netflix, Amazon Prime, BBC iPlayer, Live at the Apollo, and Mock the Week, the comedian brings his new show Bafflingly Optimistic to Taunton as part of a new UK tour.

Finally, fans of Britain’s Got Talent won’t want to miss Viggo Venn’s first national tour following his victory on the prime time ITV talent show.

After blowing away the competition in an explosion of hi-vis jackets, balloons and joyous idiocy, Viggo became the most talked-about new entertainer in the country.

He will finish his UK tour at Taunton Brewhouse on February 21 next year.
