THIS is the site greeting commuters, children on their way to school and people heading into town from north Taunton this morning (Monday, September 11).
Around 20 dead pigeons have been lined up against the wall under the bridge at Taunton Station.
It is currently unknown how the birds died, but their position suggests they have been intentionally placed in a row following their deaths.

Scores of pigeons roost under the bridge on Station Road and various attempts over the years to move them on have failed.
We have contacted Somerset Council, which regularly cleans the pavements under the bridge to remove mess left by the birds.
