THE coming week promises a mix of weather conditions for the Taunton, Wells, and Bath areas in the build up to Bonfire Night.
Temperatures will all hover around the mid-teens during the day with lows in the single digits at night.
Monday, October 30 sees a partly cloudy day for Taunton and Bath while Wells expects light rain.
The weather becomes progressively more unsettled with the arrival of heavier rains from Tuesday, October 31.
Both Taunton and Bath can anticipate downpours, while Wells will face a combination of light to heavy showers.
On Wednesday, November 1 winds start picking up pacing in all areas - notably reaching 27mph in Taunton in the evening.
By the end of the week, on Friday, November 3, light rain remains present in all areas, with Bath and Wells seeing winds from a west-northwest direction while Taunton experiences southerly breezes.
Monday, October 30
- Taunton: Partly cloudy day and night with temperatures reaching 14C and lows of 8C in the evening, wind from the south-southwest.
- Wells: Light rain expected throughout the day, with a high of 10C and winds blowing from the east.
- Bath: Daytime cloud cover, with an 8C minimum temperature in the evening and winds coming from the southeast.
Tuesday, October 31
- Taunton: Cloudy conditions before heavy rain sets in at night, highs of 15C and southwesterly winds.
- Wells: Rainy weather continuing with heavier rainfall at night and a temperature high of 10C.
- Bath: Cloudy conditions held persist but heavy rain at night, with highs of 14C and winds from the southwest.
Wednesday, November 1
- Taunton: Overcast day gives way to heavy rain at night with highs of 13C and winds from the west-southwest.
- Wells: Heavy rain showers during the day, subsiding to lighter rain in the evening, highs of 13C and winds from the south-southwest.
- Bath: Heavy rain showers expected the day, turning to light rain at night with highs of 13C and winds from the southwest.
Thursday, November 2
- Taunton: Heavy rain showers during the day but easing off to light rain at night with highs of 12C and westward winds.
- Wells: Heavy rain showers are predicted throughout daytime before turning into heavier rainfall at night, highs of 11C and winds from the east-southeast.
- Bath: Daytime will be dominated by heavy rain showers, with light rain at night, highs of 12C and winds from the south-southwest.
Friday, November 3
- Taunton: Light rain showers during daytime turning into light rain at night, highs of 12C, brisk winds from the west-northwest.
- Wells: Light rain showers expected through the day with a cloudy night, highs of 11C and winds blowing from the west-northwest.
- Bath: Light rain showers in the day that leads to light rain at night, highs of 12C with westerly winds.
