The winners of the 2023 British Institute of Interior Design Awards have been unveiled, with a success story in the South West.
It was hosted by architectural designer and television presenter, Charlie Luxton, in front of an audience of 200 industry professionals at Drapers' Hall in London.
Studio Found's project The Libertine, a spectacular hospitality space in the historic Royal Exchange, took home the coveted Interior of the Year.
While seven regional category winners were also named from across the United Kingdom.
Wining big in the South West, Frank & Faber Ltd's project, The Forge at Number One Bruton, was celebrated for its impressive transformation of a historic building into luxury hotel rooms, honouring the foundational character.
The now award-winning project displayed practical room planning and innovative use of local materials.
The judges remarked: "This project demonstrates skilful resourcefulness...a harmonious and charming blend of natural materials...creates a cohesive and well-designed environment worthy of this award."
Talking about the quality at this year's ceremony, BIID President May Fawzy said: "The high calibre of award entries this year has demonstrated the creativity, professionalism and innovation of interior designers across the UK."
