TAUNTON turned out in force this morning (Sunday, November 12) to pay respect to our glorious war dead.
A procession from Taunton Minster through the town centre saw dignitaries take the salute on the steps of the Old Municipal Building in Corporation Street.
The action then moved to Vivary Park, where the Rev Tobie Osmond led the Remembrance Sunday service around the war memorial.
Dozens of wreaths were placed at the foot of the memorial from individuals and representatives of organisations.
