A TAUNTON woman has been handed nine suspended prison sentences at a court hearing.
Taunton Magistrates' Court heard that Laura Thistleton, 31, of East Reach, breached a community order by failing to comply with two home visits and a planned office appointment.
The community order was revoked and she was ordered to pay costs of £90 before being sentenced for nine original offences of theft that had resulted in her receiving the community order.
She was given eight-week prison sentences suspended for 12 months for each offence, all running concurrently.
