THE time has come to nominate young heroes across the county for this year’s Pride of Somerset youth awards.
Your County Gazette has teamed up with the Rotary Club of Taunton and BBC Somerset for the annual competition, which aims to showcase the achievements of young people.
Prizemoney of £1,000 will be presented to youngsters from Somerset who do something special to make them stand out from the crowd.
And we are inviting YOU to nominate anyone, under the age of 20, who deserves a special pat on the back for their outstanding efforts.
They might care for a relative in need, or have captained a successful sports team or have kept a smile on their face through an illness.
They might have raised money for charity, gone the extra mile at school or spent their own time helping others.
