Taunton Deane MP Jeremy Browne is backing the County Gazette’s Shoulder to Shoulder campaign by displaying a poster in his Taunton office window.
Mr Browne said: “Over the past four weeks 40 Commando has lost 10 brave men in Afghanistan.
“This loss can be felt throughout Taunton Deane where a strong bond exists between the community and those connected with 40 Commando.
“Our thoughts are with the family and friends of those serving in Afghanistan at this time.
“I’m delighted to support the County Gazette’s Shoulder to Shoulder campaign.
“It is a great way for our community to show its support for those who are risking their lives for the freedoms we enjoy every day.”
