THE Mayor of Taunton, Cllr Nick O’Donnell, and Mayoress Catherine O’Donnell, rolled up at Taunton Deane Bowling Club’s Open Day on Sunday May 28.
Bowls enthusiasts, the Mayor and Mayoress made the most of honing their skills on the Club’s indoor rinks and outdoor greens guided by one of the Club’s coaches.
They were met by the Club President Chris Denner who showed them round the Club’s facilities.
As well as the Mayor and Mayoress of Taunton, Mo Monkton, Performance Director for Bowls England High Performance, and over 25 visitors dropped in to give bowls a try.
Many signed up for their 4 free coaching sessions which the Club offers to prospective new members.
