THE Blue Flames ABC female squad is getting bigger and stronger and this past week had three of its boxers in action.

To start, National Champion Anya Wilson boxed on the Torbay Box Cup against a skilful Bristol boxer.

Wilson wasted no time in getting into action hunting her opponent down in a fast pace bout earning her a unanimous win.

Elsewhere, Macey Barret took her debut bout in Whitchurch.

She has been working really hard in the gym and has been busting other gyms in the south sparring to gain some experience and put it into action this weekend.

Barret boxed a very strong opponent from the home team but she kept a cool head and gave everything she could.

Her hard work and determination paid off earning her a clear points win.

Finally, Charlie Miller travelled up to Cambridge this weekend to headline a show against a local girl with double her experience.

Miller has been working closely with coach Rob Scutt over the last season and her boxing has improved massively.

She stuck to her game plan and the preparation and hard work paid off earning her a unanimous win.

Blue Flames ABC will be looking to put on a female only show this season which will be fantastic to see.

All three boxers can be seen in action on home ground on the Blue Flames ABC home show on Friday, October 6 at Wellsprings Leisure Centre.
