OAKE Manor Golf Club held a Stableford Competition on Saturday for the Andrew Gadd Challenge Trophy which raised £200 for Cancer Research UK.

Lewis Perry was the overall winner scoring 45 points, second in division 3 was Guy Backhouse with 36 points and Tony Fulker was third also with 36 points. Terry Davies won division 1 with 40 points, Chris Flack came second with 39 points and Mark Popham was third with 38 points. Paul Rich won division 2 scoring 41 points, Stephen Plowman was second with 39 points and Josh Winter was third with 37 points.

Edward Winter scored 38 points to win the Sunday Stableford Competition, Andrew Gent came second also with 38 points but losing on count back. Nick putt came third with 37 points.

Suzanne Reed scored nett 73 to win the Ladies Sunday Medal Competition for The Autumn Trophy, Rose Jarvis came second with nett 74 and Tamsin St George was third with nett 75.

On Tuesday the Ladies and the Seniors played their annual Challenge Match. Trevor Cook’s Seniors Team beat Pam Kinnear’s Ladies Team in a close fought contest by 5 games to 4.

Chris Yeates won the Wednesday Midweek Stableford Competition scoring 36 points, Michael Bright came second with 34 points and Mark Nichols was third also with 34 points.
